THANKS for all the fish!

Hi all,

As the producers of The Lab with Leo Laporte, we are blogging to let you know that, effective now, production has ceased on the show.

However, all the episodes that have been produced thus far will air on G4TechTV Canada. Episodes up to, and including, number 180 will air as scheduled, air dates for episodes 181 to 195 will be confirmed shortly.

We, along with the whole Greedy Productions team, would like to thank you for your involvement with the show over the past year. We all recognize that we could not have produced 195 hours of live-to-tape TV without your help. You helped make the Lab with Leo a show of which we can all be proud!

Again, we thank you for being such good friends of the show, and I wish you all the best.

Sincerely,
The Lab Team

Well I have not watched the last episodes 181 to 195, but the minute number 195 is over, I am calling to cancel my G4Tv subscription.

CNet is the last somewhat technical show on the entire "Tech TV" channel. When they first started it was very good with some cool technical shows, but like every specialty channel they start out with as special theme that gets them on the air, then they slowly slip into mainstream, and the CRTC does nothing about this. G$TV should be showing the Golden Girls reruns anytime now - I give it a week.

Ted. Mr Rogers. One real good tech show like The Lab would have kept me and the others on this list subscribed to you channel and we would have continued to ignore the soft porn of "Attach of the Show" and the reruns of old game reviews, although PONG 1.0.1 did look faster.

So, Bye Bye T$TV.

Once again, I become hooked on a show, and the rug is pulled out from under my feet. The Lab was a great show, and I'm upset to see it go. For the time being, I'm watching re-runs of The Lab and Call for Help, but long for a 'current' show with current content, and hosted by Leo Laporte.

Sign me,

Frustrated ...

Well think that Leo and the Crew should look at setting up Podcast instead. Enjoy the show I have to admit that a I did cancel my subscription prior to end of show but not because of Leo and the lab but for the lack of good computer show and not enough content. Repeat are a drag and played factor in cancellation.

Leo please continue this style show in a Podcast. You should be able to pay for site and downloads through advertisement. And torrents are good way of keeping cost down.

Cable companies are going down due to poor choice. Well let show them we don't need them to enjoy our shows. Leo and the crew please keep it up. Thank for all the hard work you put into producing a good show.

G4TV you couldn't suck anymore then you do now. Repeat don't cut it. Also not enough technology show on G4Tv shouldn't ever of merged. Their enough thing out there to be show on technology and you lost a good voice on bringing technology to the world.

I thought it was funny when I was watching today and Leo said that it was October of 2007. I would have never believed that the show would have ended.. I don't know what to do with myself, I relied so much on this show. It was a GREAT show!! I will miss you all, even though I had never written in once. I was planning to about my broken computer. I really at least hope to see that all who worked on the show are happy. Thanks for a great series!

Well im not sure why everybody is canceling their subscriptions to G4techTV. I think that there is still many great shows on the network. I am disappointed that The Lab is gone and that it seems as if Rogers doest give a S*%t about G4techTV. To let people know im still keeping G4techTV, cause X-Play, Reviews on the Run, Electric Playground, AOTS, cNet and Get Connected are great shows. I do wish that The Lab was still being made though don't get me wrong, its a great show. I learnt a lot from it, even though im a Linux/Windows person. I wish everybody who worked on the show good luck on their future en devours. Thats for the good couple of years!

We are once again disappointed to see Leo and his crew be cut. I have watched and learned along with everyone else from the screen savers, call for help and now the lab with leo. These were all excellent shows to say the least. Where is Ted Rogers on this at his crummy Blue Jay game. They should have cut the attack of the show where the only good part there was the chick with the super rack. Please come back Leo with the screen savers or another knock off soon. The gods of tv here have made a marketing mistake.
